    • Lulu An

      Ms. An has dedicated her career to the structuring and execution of business expansion and financing for Sino-U.S. endeavors. Her professional experience is firmly founded on three main pillars: entrepreneurship; international business development; and finance expertise.

      As an entrepreneur, she founded Fancy Advertising Agency in China. The agency won several nationwide awards and was recognized as first class advertising agency in the province. Her clients encompassed a wide variety of industries. She represented China attending the 46th Cannes International Advertising Festival in France. Ms. An’s entrepreneurial experience provided her with a first-hand, in depth understanding of the business environment and regulatory system in China, as well as the mindset of Chinese entrepreneurs.

      As an international business development professional, Ms. An worked for McGraw-Hill Construction, a division of The McGraw-Hill Companies on its expansion into China. In this capacity, she was instrumental in evaluation of joint venture partners and acquisition targets, as well as formulation of alliances with Chinese associations. She has been very active in assisting Chinese companies to expand abroad, especially into the U.S. She organized a high profile seminar in China on “doing business and building alliance in the U.S.” which attracted senior leaders from around 100 premiere Chinese firms, related Chinese government agencies, and China ExIm Bank. The seminar received prominent coverage by authoritative Chinese business newspapers, including International Business Daily.

      As an investment banker at AdMedia Partners in New York, Ms. An honed her expertise in finance. She was involved in mergers & acquisitions, investment advisory, and capital raising. She made meaningful contributions to the deal team that produced the legendary sale of YM magazine to Conde Nast. Ms. An pioneered into forming joint ventures for Chinese and U.S. heavy civil construction companies. She also played a pivotal role in assisting a Chinese coal fired power plant to raise capital from U.S. markets.

      Ms. An earned an M.B.A in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Master’s in Communications from California State University, both awarded with honors. She holds a BA in Business Administration from Northeast University of Finance & Economics in China.

      She is a Chinese native and resides in New York City.

    • Roland Ho

      Mr. Ho co-founded in 2001 and co-managed the structured product asset management business for Trust Company of the West until 2009. He is one of the two principals that built the business into one of the fastest growing and one of highest revenue generating business units. Under the direction of Mr. Ho, the business unit, managed over $35 billion of asset invested in U.S., Europe and Asia, had won many asset management awards over the years. The asset management team built by Mr. Ho was considered one of the best in structured products.

      Prior to joining Trust Company of the West, Mr. Ho managed the investment research team at Hyperion Capital Management, where he was responsible of analyzing and developing investment strategies for the firm. Mr. Ho is an expert in structuring transactions, formulating and executing investment strategies, and business development and execution.

      Mr. Ho holds a BA and an MA in Electrical Science from Cambridge University, England. He also studied for his doctorate in Mathematics at the Imperial College, University of London, He is a CFA Charter holder. He was born in Hong Kong and currently resides in New York City.

    • Water Cheung

      Mr. Cheung has over 20 years of trading and investment banking experience in Asia.  When RBS acquired ABN Amro Bank in 2008, Mr. Cheung led the integration of market businesses of the two banks in Asia with combined revenue of more than GPB 1 billion.  He later headed up the Strategic Development team of the Bank in Asia Pacific.

      Prior to RBS, Mr. Cheung was the Head of Global Financial Market, Greater China for the Development Bank of Singapore (DBS).  Prior to DBS, Mr. Cheung headed the trading operation for Non-Japan Asia CIBC Financial Products. 

      Through his long and distinguished career in Asia, Mr. Cheung has developed a strong and extensive network in the financial industry in Asia, particularly China.  Mr. Cheung possess diversified expertise; particularly in the area of deal structuring and execution, and sourcing assets and investment opportunities in Asia; especially from China.

    • Francis deWolf

      Francis Colt deWolf III has over 17 years experience in the Financial Services Sector. Mr deWolf was a Senior Vice President at Oppenheimer and Company, and for the past four years has specialized in the Chinese markets, focusing on restricted stock placements, reverse mergers and secondary financing for emerging and mid-size Chinese companies. He was involved in China Security & Surveillance Technology, Inc (NYSE: CSR), China Information Security Technology, Inc (Nasdaq: CPBY), China Valves Tech (OTCBB: CVVT).

      In the earlier years of his career, Francis deWolf was a bond broker for Tucker Anthony, and subsequently an equities broker, and Vice President at Prudential Securities in Washington D.C. where he developed his expertise in Restricted Securities .

      Mr. deWolf is a graduate of Tulane University and received his business degree from the AB Freeman School of Business Studies at Tulane University.

    • Bennett Goldstein

      Mr. Goldstein has over 25 years of experience in the areas of private equity, capital markets, and derivatives, having worked in these sectors at First Boston, Prudential, Citibank, and Chase Manhattan, and two boutique investment firms with offices in Brazil.  

      For the last two years, Mr. Goldstein has focused his efforts on raising capital for a consolidation play in the specialty consumer finance industry. Having recognized the opportunity, he created the business and financial model, identified several acquisition targets, and recruited a highly talented management team. Mr. Goldstein was a co-founder and managing partner at Northeast Capital, a firm specializing in arranging private equity funding for companies in emerging markets. During his tenure at Northeast Capital, he was instrumental in closing several innovative transactions including the first reverse merger and listing of a Brazilian company into the US equity markets.

      Prior to co-founding Northeast Capital, Mr. Goldstein worked at First Boston where he was responsible for structuring and marketing equity, fixed income, currency, commodity, and credit derivatives to Brazilian entities.  At Prudential, he was a founding partner of Prudential Global Funding, Inc., a derivatives and capital markets joint-venture between Prudential Insurance Co. and Prudential Securities.

      During his tenure at Citibank, Mr. Goldstein was part of the international capital markets group, where he priced and marketed derivative and capital market products to financial and governmental institutions. He began his career at the Chase Manhattan Bank, where, after completing their credit training program, moved to the Bank’s money market arbitrage desk and then to M&A and corporate finance advisory.

      Mr. Goldstein has a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.  A US citizen, he grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and speaks fluent Portuguese.

    • Rich Gupta

      Mr. Gupta serves as the Risk Manager and Compliance Officer of Snow Fox Capital. Mr. Gupta was a member of the combined teams that created both Countrywide Alternative Investments and Capital Fusion Partners, each an asset management company.

      Prior to that, Mr. Gupta managed the transaction and operational risk management function related to the multi-billion dollar trading books of structured products for Prudential Securities. While at Prudential Securities, Mr. Gupta helped build and manage the infrastructure and operational framework used to originate and manage structured product transactions.

      Mr. Gupta holds a B. Com. from University of Allahabad, India. Mr. Gupta also holds an MBA in Finance from Long Island University, New York.

    • Richard Anderson - President, New York Building Congress

      Richard T. Anderson is an expert in public policy and construction, and a nationally recognized association executive and urban planner. An advocate of strategic infrastructure investment and economic development, he has dedicated his career to promoting the long-term growth of America’s foremost urban centers, primarily New York City.

      New York Building Congress is a public policy organization in its 87th year of representing the design, construction and real estate community. Prior to the Building Congress, Mr. Anderson served as Executive Director of The Dallas Plan, a non-profit group formed to prepare a long-range capital improvements strategy for that city, and as President of the Regional Plan Association, the nation’s oldest metropolitan planning organization serving the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut metropolitan region. Mr. Anderson was the first elected President of the 35,000 member American Planning Association, a national group based in Washington, D.C., and served as Chairman of its College of Fellows. He is a founding member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and is a Director of the ACE Mentor Program of Greater New York and the Salvadori Center and a Trustee of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of New York City. Mr. Anderson was awarded the 2001 George S. Lewis Award from the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, where he served as Public Director, and received a 1995 Ellis Island Medal of Honor. He was awarded a Distinguished Service Award in 2004 by The Building Congress Board of Directors and he was elected to the National Academy of Construction in 2006.

      A graduate of Rutgers University, Mr. Anderson earned a Master of Regional Planning degree from Cornell University and completed post-graduate doctoral studies in public administration at New York University.

    • Christopher Beaudet - Investment Banker and Consultant

      Mr. Beaudet is a senior investment banker with over 17 years of experience in structuring asset finance solutions for commercial and consumer finance companies. Highly skilled in designing asset backed securities, conduit facilities and principal finance structures, he is an advisor to many hedge funds in the trading of asset backed securities and distressed debt of finance companies. He was co-head of asset finance for Deutsche Bank America’s which covers Canada and Australia, and successfully built Deutsche Bank into one of the top underwriters of asset backed securities for auto and commercial loan/lease collateral. In this capacity, he was responsible for the securitization of auto loans/leases, equipment leases, commercial loans, aircraft loans/leases and franchise loans. He designed and executed asset finance transactions for BMW, Case/CNH, CIT, Daimler Chrysler, Ford, GECC, GMAC, Heller, Honda, Ikon, John Deere, Marlin, Newcourt, Nissan, Textron and Toyota as well as other major auto and commercial securitization programs. He developed coverage of private equity and hedge funds with Deutsche’s financial sponsors group for whole business securitization in the United States, Australia and Canada.

      Mr. Beaudet was a fund raiser for the Obama camp during the election season.

      Mr. Beaudet has a BA in economics from Rutgers University.

    • Nicholas E. Billotti - Chief Executive Officer and President, Turner International

      Nicholas (Nick) E. Billotti is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Turner International LLC, the overseas division of Turner Construction Company. He is also an Executive Vice President of The Turner Corporation. Nick is responsible for providing strategic direction for the international business unit, which currently includes 65 construction projects measuring more than 20.3 million square meters in building area with a value of more than US $19.7 billion. Internationally, Turner offers program management, project management, construction management and construction consulting services.

      Nick currently manages assignments in 25 countries throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean and the Middle East. Contributing to his success is the ability to build a marketing and sales support structure in each region through strategic alliances with local partners. From the tallest building in the world to a biotech facility in Costa Rica, Turner’s quality signature is found in projects around the world.

      Nick joined Turner as a scheduling coordinator in 1976 and progressed through a series of global assignments and responsibilities before being named President of Turner International in 1996. Nick holds a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in Urban Administration from The State University of New York at Brockport.

    • Hank M. Harris - President and Managing Director, FMI Corporation

      FMI is a management consulting and investment banking firm to the construction industry. Hank is responsible for the management of all of FMI and its services to the marketplace. He primarily works for firms in matters of organization, strategic planning and the execution of strategic plans through mergers and acquisitions. Hank understands the industry from a unique perspective. His background with regional building, real estate and development organizations provides him with a practical approach, while his extensive activities in management education and consulting provide him with an objective viewpoint. Hank has consulted to a variety of industry players, and his advice is sought by engineering, contracting, EPC and related industry firms. Hank is an effective and highly regarded speaker nationwide. He delivers his material so that it applies directly to the way industry professionals do business. Hank has published an extensive array of articles and white papers on managerial topics related to the industry. He has also written two books on the application of strategic planning to managing construction-industry firms.

      Hank has a bachelor of science degree with a concentration in marketing from the University of Richmond and a master of business administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a certified management consultant and a member of the American Arbitration Association. Hank stays active in many industry associations and serves on the boards of directors and advisory boards for several major companies and associations.

    • Robert S. Peckar - Founding Partner, Peckar & Abramson

      Robert S. Peckar is a recognized leader among the national construction bar. While he has obtained very substantial recoveries in litigation and arbitration, he has gained widespread recognition for his ability to formulate creative solutions to complex construction problems and is a leading advocate in the use of ADR, serving as an arbitrator in complex international arbitrations.

      Mr. Peckar has devoted his career to serving the construction industry and bar. He taught at the AGC's Advanced Management Program for sixteen years and has made presentations to other major national and local industry groups. He has served as General Counsel of the Building Contractors Association of New Jersey, the New York Building Congress (recently named General Counsel Emeritus), the Building Trades Employers Association of New York City and the national CFMA. Mr. Peckar is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers where he has chaired its ADR Committee. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Circuits, The United States Court of Federal Claims, The United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey as well as the state courts of New Jersey and New York. Mr. Peckar has authored many articles on construction law topics, is the contributing author in several construction law textbooks and is the author of "New Jersey Practice: Construction Law". Mr. Peckar's prominence in Construction Law has led to glowing accolades by clients and colleagues alike. Mr. Peckar has also been recognized by The International Who's Who of Construction Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America and as a New York and New Jersey Super Lawyer in Construction Law and most recently was named as the Leading Construction Lawyer in the World by The International Who's Who of Business Lawyers in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

      Mr. Peckar graduated from Rutgers College and Columbia Law School.
